Crossrail is the highly prestigious, £15 billion rail project, currently underway in central London. Crossrail is aimed to be the new ‘high frequency, convenient and accessible railway’ connecting East to West and North to South. Crossrail will make travelling in London and the South East easier and quicker, with trains planned to carry more than 1500 passengers each during peak periods.

After years of planning and approval the scheme is now underway. Initial enabling and tunneling works have commenced and a strict and tight schedule and budget is in place, with the first trains planned to run on the central section in 2018.

Henry Recruitment has been engaged by a number of main contractors that have been awarded works on the Crossrail project to supply professional and qualified Engineering, Managerial and Commercial staff to the programme. We have vacancies for Site Agents, Site Managers along with general Site Engineering jobs, and have on going needs for Planning and Quantity Surveyors.
